  • Patent number: 7251517
Abstract: Blood sugar levels are measured non-invasively based on temperature measurement. Non-invasively measured blood sugar level values obtained by a temperature measurement scheme are corrected by blood oxygen saturation and blood flow volume, thereby stabilizing the measurement data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 30, 2004
Date of Patent: July 31, 2007
    Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.
Inventors: Ok-Kyung Cho, Yoon-Ok Kim, Kurazo Maruoka, Hiroshi Mitsumaki
  • Publication number: 20060084853
Abstract: Blood sugar levels are measured non-invasively based on temperature measurement. Measurement data is stabilized by correcting blood sugar level measurement values obtained by a temperature measuring system in a non-invasive manner based on the blood oxygen saturation and the blood flow volume. An LCD portion 13 is raised from a horizontal direction by an angle ? of 15° to 60° so as to prevent the generation of noise due to radiation heat from body surfaces other than the user's finger.
    Type: Application
