  • Publication number: 20100106685
Abstract: The present invention relates to data backup, and specifically to an apparatus, method, and computer readable medium to manage and automate the backup and synchronization of data on client machines and servers. For example, the system includes a user computer that contains local files and a data repository to which those local files are backed up and synchronized. A user is able to monitor and control the synchronization of the files. The files on the user computer are initially accessed. The files stored in the data repository can be utilized to update the local files, if necessary.
