  • Patent number: 9458755
Abstract: A radiant heat discharge arrangement for use with a internal combustion engine is disclosed. The internal combustion engine may have an outlet manifold. The radiant heat discharge arrangement may have a cover configured to over the outlet manifold with a clearance between the cover and the outlet manifold. The cover may have at least one outlet opening. The radiant heat discharge arrangement may also have an air duct having at least one air inlet fluidly connected to the at least one outlet opening of the cover. The air duct may also have an air outlet. Further, the radiant heat discharge arrangement may have a fan fluidly connected to the air outlet.

  • Publication number: 20150144763
Abstract: An engine support system may have a support structure for supporting an internal combustion engine unit. The support structure may have a top section with outer mounting sections and a counterweight section. Each outer mounting section may have an upper face and a lower face. A mass of a counterweight may be formed by a mass of the support structure and a mass of a generator. The counterweight may have a mass of at least 80 % of a mass of the internal combustion engine unit. The engine support may also have a plurality of upper resilient mountings and a plurality of lower resilient mountings. The upper resilient mountings may be arranged on the upper faces of outer mounting sections and may support the internal combustion engine unit. The lower resilient mountings may be arranged on the lower faces of the outer mounting sections and may support the support structure.

  • Patent number: 6073446
Abstract: In a turbocharged internal combustion engine, the condensation accumulating in a charge air cooler is directed through conduits into the exhaust duct after the exhaust turbine, in the direction of exhaust gas flow from the internal combustion engine, and is evaporated in the exhaust gas stream flowing through the exhaust duct.
