    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a two package coating composition, comprising:(A) (a1) an acrylic resin having acid and hydroxy groups; and (a.sub.2) additives selected from the group consisting of solvents,UV-stabilizers, antioxidants, catalysts, flow agents, hindered amine light stabilizers and mixtures thereof; and(B) (b.sub.1) a polycarbodiimide;(b.sub.2) optionally a crosslinker selected from the group consisting of polyisocyanates, aminoplasts, and mixtures thereof; and(b.sub.3) additives selected from the group consisting of solvents, flow agents, findered amine light stabilizers, UV-absorbers, and mixtures thereof;a method of coating an article therewith and the coated article. The coating composition is used as a clearcoat with improved rheology control and no striking in which forms films with excellent appearance and sag resistance.
