Abstract: A single piece thread cutter for a ring spinning spindle has radially and axially extending lugs spaced apart about the periphery of the cup shaped sheet metal cylindrical or conical body. Where the lugs are formed by bending tabs, they may be doubled up to increase the stability and thickness.

Abstract: A stiff mounting unit is formed by a pair of longitudinal main girders and support bars for a two sided spinning or twisting machine frame. Bridge pieces are connected to these bars and girders. The support rollers and pressing rollers of the drafting or feed units are mounted on the bars.

Abstract: Along the ring bank of a twisting or spinning machine is provided a shaft rotatable about an axis parallel to the ring bank and supporting holders for thread-break sensors inductively responding to the orbiting of the travelers. Since the holders are independent of the ring bank, they can be swung out of the way to allow replacement or maintenance of the ring bank.

Abstract: Spinning machine in which the upper rollers of the drafting units are arranged at pressure arm assemblies, whereby each pressure arm assembly has a main arm and an operating lever which is positionally arranged above the main arm and radially movable. To each work location of the machine are assigned signal lights for indicating disruptions at the work location. For optimum visibility from distant locations, the indicator lights are provided at the operating levers.

Abstract: A double sieve or twin-wire papermaking machine possesses a substantially planar section of a lower band which is equipped with a headbox. Furthermore, it contains a shoe containing a domed surface and a dewatering cylinder. Arranged after the dewatering cylinder is a deflection roll which is located at the side of both bands, typically in the form of sieves, wires or filters, which face away from the dewatering cylinder. The shoe and the dewatering cylinder are located either within the lower band or within the upper band. The first deflection roll can have arranged thereafter a second deflection roll which is located at the same side of the lower band as the dewatering cylinder.

Abstract: A method of producing a mountable tube for use with a textile spindle and the article produced by the method is revealed herein. The mountable tube is produced by cylindrical hammering of a steel body which may be provided interiorly thereof with a perforated insert body incapable of being deformed under the hammering process, but capable of being held within said mountable tube subsequent to completion of the hammering operation. The insert body is arranged to support the mountable tube on the textile spindle.
