  • Patent number: 5205594
Abstract: A connection device for fluid conduits. An annular gripper member is arranged in a housing and has an axially sliding actuating part, on which a plurality of clamping elements are provided and between the clamping elements and the actuating part there are bending regions which allow rocking of the clamping elements. Each clamping element has a radially projecting pressing part which axially opposes a support surface on the housing. If a conduit is to be released which is held in the annular gripper member, an external thrust is exerted on the annular gripper member to cause the clamping elements to be rocked into a releasing position relative to the conduit.

  • Patent number: 5205568
Abstract: A sealing ring for sealing off a joint between a fluid power line and a fluid power component to be connected therewith. At one axial side the sealing ring has two overpressure sealing lips arranged in a v configuration. At the opposite axial side a thrust portion is provided for cooperation with a gripping element. The thrust portion and an inner underpressure sealing portion provided thereon define a radially moving pivot ring. If the fluid power line is under vacuum, the pressure of the surroundings causes the pivot ring to be shifted inwards and the underpressure sealing portion is thrust sealingly against other surface of the fluid power line.

  • Patent number: 5171025
Abstract: A sealing arrangement for valve has at least one sealing ring, which has a substantially U-like cross section of its housing ring, which is made up of a plurality of parts which are permanently connected together. In the ring space of the housing ring a single, integral sealing element is mounted so as to be able to yield radially and with the housing ring it constitutes a component which may be uniformly handled. A sealing part thereof extends out of the housing opening of the ring space. A sealing ring of this type may be locked in valve housings in order to provide a sealing action between the valve housing and the moving valve piston. The design of the sealing rings makes them suitable for robotized assembly.

  • Patent number: 5069317
Abstract: A pneumatic shock absorber has a piston rod extending out of its cylinder whose pressure space adjacent to the piston is connected via an inlet check valve. An outlet valve to let off compressed air during damping motion of the piston has a valve piston running in a valve chamber which it divides into two chamber parts. The first chamber part connects a duct leading to the pressure space with an outlet valve. This connection may be interrupted by the end face of the valve piston acted on at least in part by the pressure in the pressure space of the absorber and cooperating with a valve seat. The second chamber part is connected with the pressure space or with the pressure source. There is a spring urging the valve piston towards the valve seat. As a result there are not losses in pressure in the two abutment positions and the damping effect is very even and continuous.

  • Patent number: 4941642
Abstract: The invention relates to a negative mold containing a plurality of mold portions which can be detached from each other. It functions in particular for the manufacture of shapes consisting of plastic. The two mold halves enclose a molding chamber receiving the material to be shaped. In the chamber is arranged at least one insert abutting at least one projection which together form the negative for a surface depression to be produced in the shape. On the insert a fastening shank is arranged with the transition region being located in the region of the associated mold portion surface and being formed as gradation. Thereby the insert in contact with the mold half covers completely the orifice of the opening containing the shank and, in addition, projects beyond the opening edge.

  • Patent number: 4925156
Abstract: The invention provides a control circuit arrangement for solenoid valves, which has a timer adapted to supply the solenoid valve with a higher attraction current during an adjustable time starting with the beginning of a switching signal for the solenoid valve. After the time interval a low hold current flows until the end of the switching signal. For this purpose there is a semiconductor switch adapted to switch the flow of current through the solenoid valve. A logic gate arrangement is connected with an input of the switch and the gate arrangement is supplied with the output signal of the timer arranged to be triggered by the switching signal and the output signal of an oscillation generator. This circuit arrangement makes is possible to reduce a higher attraction current to a lower hold current in a simple and cheap manner, there only being a small overall size and as significant advantages it is possible for the arrangement to be converted for complementary logic.
