  • Publication number: 20230105332
Abstract: A hydraulic height control system controls all raising, lowering and folding movement of agricultural tillage equipment. The system includes a single hydraulic circuit utilizing non-rephase cylinders which allows for independent raising and lowering of the equipment frame sections and tool gangs. The hydraulic circuit also controls the folding of the frame wings between field and transport positions. Sensors monitor component positions. The hydraulic circuit also uses a common rail for providing fluid to the cylinders.

  • Patent number: 9539927
Abstract: A seed cart includes first and second mating frames. The hopper is mounted on the first frame for holding seed and has an outlet to discharge the seed. A conveyor is mounted on the second frame for movement between seed loading and unloading positions. A plurality of cylinders with extendible and retractable arms control the desired position of the conveyor. A plurality of load cells are mounted on the second frame and support the first frame. The weigh scales weigh the first frame, the hopper, and the seed in the hopper, without weighing the conveyor. Therefore, an accurate amount of seed can be dispensed from the hopper via the conveyor. Wheels and a hitch tongue can be detachably mounted on the second frame to convert the cart from a stationary unit to a mobile unit.

  • Publication number: 20080295751
Abstract: A pneumatically powered seed delivery system for an agricultural planter includes an air lock between a main seed hopper and the forced air delivery system. The air lock accurately meters the seed and isolates the interior of the seed hopper from the forced air delivery system. Seed is delivered to individual planter row units, each including an air horn having a buffer reservoir for storing and feeding seed to the associated seed meter under controlled conditions, and a seed routing conduit for carrying seed not deposited in a given seed meter to the other row units downline.
