    Abstract: The present invention provides a folding seat having a seating portion. The seating portion includes a seating panel, a first footstand, a movable stand, a second footstand, a first pull rod and a second pull rod. The upper end of the first footstand is hinged to the seating panel and the movable stand is also hinged to the seating panel. The upper end of the second footstand is hinged to the free end of the movable stand and is thus capable of rotating with regard to the hinged position and in relation to the movable stand. Both ends of the first pull rod are hinged to the first footstand and the movable stand respectively, and both ends of the second pull rod are hinged to the seating panel and the second footstand, respectively.
