A multi-tray assembly for retaining a plurality of discs within the container, the multi-tray assembly comprising two connectors and two trays for retaining and holding discs, each connector comprising a container-engaging member for engaging to the attachment means on the spine of the container and two holding means for rotatably holding a respective tray, so that each tray can be rotated about the holding means of the connectors to allow access to the discs retained by the trays when the container is in a container open position.

Abstract: A lockable container includes a first cover, a second opposing cover, a connecting portion connecting the first cover and the second cover to be movable relatively between an open position and a closed position, and a reinforcing structure mounted on an inner surface of at least one of the first cover and the second cover, wherein the reinforcing member is structured and positioned to limit deformation of the other of the first cover and the second cover when pressure is applied thereto. The reinforcing structure may be an upstanding wall or a set of ribs, as examples.

Abstract: The invention is a case for receiving at least one data storage disk. The case is comprised of two cover members and a base. The case opens by sliding one or both cover members away from each other to allow removal of the disk from the base. The present improved DVD or CD case has very few components which are characterized by great simplicity whereby low manufacturing and assembly cost is achieved, without sacrificing reliability and resistance to breakage or malfunctioning. The case can be accommodated in existing racks, or holders and displays.

Abstract: A media storage disk box comprising formed as a unitary plastic body, a first base panel, a second base panel and a spine panel intermediate of the first base panel and the second base panel, wherein formed intermediate of the first base panel and said second base panel is a hinge defining an axis of rotation the hinge allowing movement of the first base panel relative to the second base panel between a closed condition to and an open condition to provide to allow access to the enclosure of the box. The first base panel and second base panel are of a complementary size to, in the closed condition, provide perimeter to perimeter engagement of the first and second base panels. A sheet metal cover is affixed to and overlaying the first base panel to the non enclosure side of the first base panel.
