  • Publication number: 20050092118
Abstract: The present invention discloses an internal safety structure for toasters comprising a circuit board (12), a motor (3), a lifting rack (17) and others. The motor (3) is a low voltage direct current motor driving the lifting rack (17) to move upwards or downwards through a set of gears, a set of clutch gears and a driving gear bar (19). On the circuit board (12), an upper sensor (15) and a lower sensor (16) are installed to sense the lifting level of the lifting rack (17), and a transformer (13) is installed to reduce the voltage of alternating current of power to the circuit board (12) and the motor (3) through a set of diode rectifiers changing alternating current to direct current. The present invention is of simple and reliable construction, susceptible of low production costs and consumes low energy. It is economical and durable and produces less noise.

  • Patent number: 4964610
Abstract: Two embodiments of a wireline blowout preventer are disclosed. The rams in each embodiment are keyed to end bodies which close the outer ends of body cross bores for the rams. One blowout preventer embodiment utilizes cross pins having flat surfaces positioned in each end body. The pin flat surfaces slidably engage flat surfaces on a sleeve connected and keyed to each ram to key rams to end bodies. The other embodiment keys the rams to the end bodies with a square sleeve connected and keyed to each ram. Each square sleeve is moveable through square hole in the end body. The end bodies may be positioned inverted, inverting the rams to prevent flow downwardly through the blowout preventer when the rams are in closed position.

  • Patent number: 4919456
Abstract: Disclosed is a pipe union having a reliable metal ring seal and a resilient seal. The resilient seal is on the pin portion of the union, which has an internal seal surface. The box portion of the union has a bore to sealingly receive the resilient seal and an internal seal surface. The metal ring seal is compressed into sealing engagement with the pin portion and box portion sealing surfaces when the union pin portion and union box portion are connected together by a threaded collar. When the union is utilized in a tree cap for an underwater wellhead and the union box portion is attached to the wellhead, the resilient seal serves as a secondary seal and protects the metal seal. Well servicing risers or lubricators may be connected to the tree cap box portion.

  • Patent number: 4844210
Abstract: Disclosed is a line clamping device which may be remotely and repeatedly operated to clamp line passing through the device. Increasing pressure acting on a piston in the clamp housing moves slips to a position clamping the line while compressing a spring. When pressure on the piston is reduced, the spring moves the slips and piston to back to a position not clamping line.

  • Patent number: 4825953
Abstract: Disclosed is a wireline well servicing system for underwater wells utilizing a lubricator stack having upper and lower sections connected by a remotely operable connector. The lower lubricator section includes a remotely operable valve connectable to a wellhead and a stress joint connected on the valve. The valve may be closed to retain pressure control of the well if the stress joint is fractured in bending by side loading on the lubricator stack. The upper lubricator section includes a remotely operable wireline clamp and cutter unit on a stuffing box. The clamp and cutter are remotely operable by the same control conduit to quickly clamp and cut the wireline to permit emergency removal of the surface service vessel.

  • Patent number: 4821799
Abstract: A system for sealing around a wireline run into or pulled from wells includes a grease control head with a line wiper mounted on the well head and a grease injection control system. The grease injection control system supplies grease continuously at a constant pressure for injection into the grease control head. The control system utilizes a piston pump to supply grease to a grease chamber in a pressurizing accumulator. The accumulator has another chamber connected to a remote pressure source, which is separated from the grease chamber by a moveable partition. Constant pressure from the remote source is transmitted through the moveable partition to grease in the grease chamber maintaining a constant pressure on grease injected into the grease control head. The sealing system is provided with a conduit to return injected grease pumped through the grease head to a waste grease reservoir for disposal. This conduit includes a valve which may be closed to aid in reestablishing a blownout grease seal.
