    Abstract: A rotary cutter is configured such that a stationary cutter includes: an oscillating member oscillatably pivoted on a strut; a stationary blade projecting on one side of the oscillating member; oscillation restricting means for restricting oscillation of the oscillating member in one direction; a resilient member for applying an urging force to the oscillating member at all times in a direction in which the oscillation is restricted; and oscillating means for forcibly applying an oscillating force to the oscillating member; wherein the oscillating member is supported at three points, that is, a contact point between the resilient member and the oscillating member, a contact point between the oscillation restricting means and the oscillating member, and a pivotal point of the strut of the oscillating member. Thus, it is possible to adjust a fixing angle of the stationary blade at a proper angle by a simple operation and reduce the cost of the rotary cutter.

    Abstract: A rotatable vehicle turn-table device for use in connection with a multi-story parking garage includes a turn-table, a circular frame and four sets of wheel fixing rollers therein which are spatially positioned to receive the wheels of a car. On opposite sides of the rollers and parallel therewith are four guard plates (inward of the rollers) and four movable side plates (outward of the rollers). Contact sensors are on the guard plates and are electrically connected to a power source. The power source can move the rollers and side plates to adjust the position of the wheels of a car on the turn-table. The wheels of the car can be moved quickly and firmly against the plates. The turn-table can be easily used by even novice drivers and can quickly and safely hold and move cars.

The garage is further comprised of interconnecting rails and tracks along which a vehicle conveyer device can move so as to transfer cars from an entrance of the garage to parking spaces in the garage on different floors of the garage and then remove the cars from the parking spaces and move them to the exit point of the garage. The vehicle conveyer is comprised of a flat car frame having a plurality of rollers connected thereto which can move along the rails. The flat car includes grooved surface areas which are positioned in a manner corresponding to the four wheels of a car. A shifter device is provided which is of a relatively short height so that it can move beneath a car by moving horizontally along a track and then move upward vertically.

    Abstract: A vehicle turn-table (10) comprises a detector (60), which has a device for calculating the position of a vehicle to be driven accurately onto a table (30), and a turning table (30) which turns in response to the calculating device of the detector. A pair of movable belts (40, 41) are provided on the table to lead the front (A, A') and the rear wheels (B, B') of the vehicle to the table, and if, when the front wheels of the vehicle are on the detector, the vehicle is out of position, the calculating device calculates a center point of the vehicle, and then computes the turning direction and range of the table from the center point. The table (30) is then caused to rotate until the wheels of the vehicle and the belts are in alignment.

    Abstract: An apparatus for feeding at a high speed a tape having a series of the same patterns and check marks printed thereon. The tape is to be divided into sections each bearing one printed pattern. The feeding apparatus comprises a pair of first and second cylindrical drums rotatable in tangential contact so as to pull the tape out of its roll by frictionally driving the tape therebetween. The first drum is mounted for free rotation on a first drive shaft and has a circumference slightly longer than the predetermined design length of one section cut from the tape. The second drum is mounted for free rotation on a second drive shaft and has a circumference slightly shorter than the predetermined length of one section. An electromagnetic clutch is provided between the first drum and the first drive shaft while a unidirectional clutch is provided between the second drum and the second drive shaft.
