  • Patent number: 6793704
Abstract: A calcium-enriched organic fertilizer for acid soil and/or a magnesium-enriched organic fertilizer for field products and/or a silica-enriched organic fertilizer for paddy field products, and its manufacturing method. The method includes elimination of saline matters harmful to the soil and plants/animals from organic waste including food waste, adding quick lime and/or dolomite for hydration, and introducing a drying exhaust gas having a high CO2 content generated from the factory, an exhaust gas from a line calcining kiln, or an out sourced CO2 gas into a heretically sealed mixer, aging tank and hydration tank in the reverse order to cause a carbonation reaction between CO2 and the dissociated ions of the additives to make the organic waste in a weak alkaline state, and adding a siliceous material.

  • Patent number: 6051202
Abstract: A process for preparing far-infrared radiating material. More particularly, this invention relates to a process for preparing far-infrared radiating material which makes maximum use of thermal radiation with a higher specific surface area. The present invention comprises the steps of preparing ultra-fine aluminum silicate salt for nucleus material, adding a silicate gel to said nucleus material, and then adding AlCl.sub.3, FeCl.sub.2, and MnCl.sub.2 to resulting mixture and neutralizing the resulting mixture with an ammonia solution. The present invention can be applied to vinyl films for agricultural use, wrappers, paint for cars, drying, heating, facilitation of fermentation, maturation of liquors, medical treatment, etc.

  • Patent number: 5910214
Abstract: A process for producing calcium carbonate particles having an average size of 0.3.+-.0.1 .mu.m, the process comprising the steps of preparing light calcium carbonate particles of 0.6.+-.0.4 .mu.m in average size by carbonating calcium hydroxide suspended in water, drying and pulverizing the light calcium carbonate particles, admixing the dry powders thereof with a dispersing agent, and wet-grinding the slurry. The final product imparts high opacity and brightness to coated papers when it is used as a pigment.

  • Patent number: 5858320
Abstract: A process for preparing ultrafine aluminum silicate salt particles, said process comprising the steps of admixing a solution of aluminum chloride with water glass to form an aluminum silicate gel, adding a suspension of calcium and magnesium hydroxides into said aluminum silicate gel to form a calcium and magnesium salt of aluminum silicate, aging said calcium and magnesium salt of aluminum silicate by heating and agitating, neutralizing a mixture of a solution of sodium aluminate and water glass by adding hydrochloric acid to form another aluminum silicate gel, and admixing said another aluminum silicate gel into with aged calcium and magnesium salt of aluminum silicate, and simultaneously heating and agitating the resulting mixture.

  • Patent number: 5811070
Abstract: A process for producing calcium carbonate particles having an average size of 0.1 to 1.0 .mu.m, the process comprising the steps of introducing carbon dioxide into a milk of lime containing a first reagent to prepare an aqueous suspension containing calcium carbonate particles of 0.4 .mu.m in average size, adding a milk of lime into the aqueous suspension, and continuously reacting a carbonated solution containing a second reagent with the aqueous suspension. Calcium carbonate powders according to the process show a superior quality as a filler for adhesives, paints, inks, papers and plastics, especially PET films.
