    Abstract: A method for detecting color temperature and an apparatus thereof are disclosed. According to the present invention, the apparatus for detecting color temperature converts RGB color information, generated by interpolating an image signal sequentially inputted in units of pixel from an image sensor, to a three-dimensional coordinate value of luminance, R-G color difference information, and B-G color difference information, and then renews the added value per color, if included in a filtering zone corresponding to a characteristic curve of the image sensor. Then, an average value per color is generated in units of frame, and the compensation rate per color is determined such that the average value per color becomes identical to each other. With the present invention, accurate colors can be displayed by detecting the color temperature of the current light source and correcting the distorted color information.

    Abstract: A digital processing apparatus using a memory sharing structure through a bypass logic and a sharing method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the digital processing apparatus includes an application processor, a supplementary memory unit, which is subordinate to the application processor, and a main processor, which controls the application processor. If no communication is made using a control bus between the main processor and the application processor, the application processor connects a route to allow the main processor and the supplementary memory unit to be directly coupled to each other by executing a predetermined bypass logic.     Abstract: Image combining method and apparatus are disclosed. The Image combining method according to the present invention generates an update background image by changing a value of region classification bit in pixel data value of an original background image to a corresponding region classification value. Then, the update background image is displayed on a background region, and a picture image inputted through camera is displayed on a preview region. If a capture instruction is inputted, a digital image corresponding to the displayed update background image and the picture image is generated and stored. According to the present invention, additional format data is not needed when combining images such that an efficient use of memory is possible.
