  • Patent number: 10206615
Abstract: A reliable content evaluation method and system are disclosed. The system includes a brainwave detector, a bio signal detector, a first controller, and a second controller. The brainwave detector detects a brainwave signal of a subject provided with content and outputs a result. The bio signal detector detects bio signals of the subject and outputs a result. The first controller can modify the brainwave and the bio signals to a signal level available for the second controller. The second controller detects change of the brainwave signal and the bio signal through an analysis of the brain wave signal and the bio signal from the first controller. Then, the second controller determines at least one of a degree of engagement and an emotional reaction of the subject to the content, using changes in the brainwave signal and the bio signal, and evaluates the content using the determined results.

  • Patent number: 10203753
Abstract: An apparatus for inducing immersion in video and a method for inducing immersion in video is disclosed. The apparatus includes a measuring unit, a control unit and an immersion inducing unit. The measuring unit obtains skin measurement data of a user watching a video output from an image display device and outputs the measured skin measurement data. The control unit outputs an immersion inducing control signal when the measured skin conductivity level is outside of a normal range of skin conductivity values. The immersion inducing unit receives the immersion inducing control signal from the control unit and outputs an immersion inducing message.

  • Publication number: 20080197124
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to an insulating heater jacket, and more particularly, to a silicone rubber and a heater controller for an insulating heater jacket. According to the present invention, the use of the silicone rubber molded out of a mixture of polymethyl vinyl silica oxide solutions improves durability. Furthermore, a duplex heating pad is provided using first and second heaters, and a microprocessor and a temperature sensor monitor malfunction of the dual heating wires and perform control in such a manner that upon malfunction of one of the heating wires, the other heating wire can be operated. Therefore, there are advantages in that temperature can be accurately controlled and reliable performance can be always ensured without any malfunction.
