Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing a social platform for a user. In one embodiment, activity of the user is monitored in a virtual environment. A profile is generated for the user, based on the monitored activity. A social element of the virtual environment is modified for the user, based on the generated profile.

Abstract: A battle game device is provided comprising a character game piece removably attached to a game mechanism. The character game piece includes a plurality of character portions that are removably attached to one another. The game mechanism provides at least one game play indicia that correspond to battle turns exercisable by the character game piece during a battle against an opposing character game piece within a battle area. A plurality of unique character game pieces is further provided. A method of game play is provided in which at least two players control individual character game pieces to compete in a battle area. The at least two players alternate battle turns until one player wins by pushing an opposing character game piece off the battle area or by attacking and damaging the opposing character game piece until all character portions are removed from the opposing character game piece.

The method comprises receiving a message from a virtual community user, the message being addressed to one or more recipient users of the virtual community; examining the message to identify any of a plurality of key expressions associated with virtual community forbidden communications; editing the message in response to identifying a forbidden key expression of the plurality of key expressions; determining a corrective prompt corresponding to the identified key expression; and issuing the corrective prompt to the virtual community user for managing discourse in the virtual community.
