Abstract: Restraint chair apparatus includes four legs, a padded seat, a relatively high padded back which extends a substantial distance above the top of the head of an individual being restrained in the chair, and foot rest on which the restrained person's feet are disposed. Restraint straps are used to secure the individual's legs, arms, waist, and chest to the chair. Pivoting outrigger elements may be utilized to prevent the chair apparatus from being tipped sideways. The chair may be movable on wheels so that a restrained individual may be transported in the chair.
