Abstract: A display unit (12) is provided, the display unit including a housing (20) configured for mounting in an interior region of a vehicle, and a screen (30) mounted on the housing for movement between a stowed position wherein the screen is at least partially contained within the housing and a deployed position wherein the screen projects from the housing to reveal a viewing surface (32) of the screen. When the screen is deployed, the viewing surface typically is at an angle of between 45-degrees and 90-degrees from the stowed position.

Abstract: A lamp assembly for a vehicle is integrally formed in a vehicle headliner which includes an aperture for receiving a lens. In some preferred embodiments, the lens snap-fits directly to the headliner. In another preferred embodiment the lens and a trim bezel interlockably engage the edge of the headliner.

Abstract: A vehicle coat hook assembly in which the coat hook is spring-biased to normally locate the hook closely adjacent to the header of the vehicle but which is extendable against the bias of the spring to provide more area for hanging a greater number of clothes hangers. In a preferred embodiment, a linearly movable stem is connected to the coat hook. In another embodiment, the coat hook is pivotally mounted.

Abstract: A lamp assembly for a vehicle is integrally formed in a vehicle panel which includes a concave recess for receiving a lamp socket and lamp. A plurality of lens receiving slots extend around the periphery of the concave recess for snap-fitting a lens to the panel. In a preferred embodiment, the concave recess is offset by a peripheral convex rim to position the lens toward the vehicle interior. In a preferred embodiment also, the panel is a vehicle headliner and the concave recess includes an aperture for receiving a spring clip which mounts a lamp socket to the headliner within the concave recess.
