  • Patent number: 10197369
Abstract: A precision case holder engages the extraction groove of the rim of a straight wall case and established a fixed distance between a base of the case and a precision forward surface of the holder. The case may then be inserted into a case trimmer and the holder establishes a repeatable distance between the base of the case and a cutting tool in the case trimmer. The holder includes a tapered slot with edges which engage the extraction groove and a threaded piston which is tightened against the base of the case. The case slides into the tapered slot until the taper resists further sliding, and the piston is tightened to retain the case.

  • Publication number: 20180361483
Abstract: A case mouth trimmer and chamferer includes a clear sliding sleeve covering windows in a barrel portion to capture trimmings. The case mouth chamfer tool may be fixed to a micrometer dial threadedly engaging the barrel. A case adapter bearing is fixed to the barrel to position cases. An end m ill is used trim the case length or a case mouth chamfer tool is adjusted to cut an inside chamfer and the micrometer dial is rotated to adjust the position of the end mill or the case mouth chamfer tool with respect to the case adapter bearing to precisely adjust the amount of material cut from the case. An adjustable cutter holder member slides in a dovetail, is adjusted by advancing and retreating a screw, and is held in place by a set screw. The case adapter bearing is easily changed to chamfer different cases.

  • Patent number: 9555270
Abstract: An automobile safety glass breaker tool is held against an automobile safety glass window and fired to break the window. The tool is armed by sliding a firing pin piston to the rear against a spring and fired by releasing the firing pin piston. The firing pin piston hits a 0.22 blank cartridge to fire the blank cartridge. The blank cartridge drives a striker piston forward, and a striker point on the striker piston impacts and shatters the automobile safety glass window. The striker point is limited to reach about 0.06 inches forward and out of the tool to prevent injury to a user.

  • Patent number: 9348829
Abstract: A system and method for managing a plurality content items employs an ingest station which may digitize the content items, generate metadata corresponding to each of the content items, and store the metadata and the content items in a storage medium or mediums. The content items may be audio content, video content, or audio/video content. The system and method may provide an association between the metadata and a corresponding content item to facilitate retrieval of the content item. The content items may be retrieved, at least in part, by searching the metadata and employing the association between the metadata and a corresponding content item to locate the desired content item.

  • Patent number: 9022704
Abstract: A case mouth chamfer tool utilizes an easily adjustable cutter holder member. The adjustable cutter holder member slides in a dovetail, is adjusted by advancing and retreating a screw, and is held in place by a set screw. The case mouth chamfer tool may be fixed to a micrometer dial threadedly engaging a barrel. A case adapter bearing is fixed to the barrel. The case mouth chamfer tool is adjusted to cut an inside chamfer and the micrometer dial is rotated to adjust the position of the case mouth chamfer tool with respect to the case adapter bearing to precisely adjust the amount of material cut from the case. The case adapter bearing is easily changed to chamfer different cases.

  • Patent number: 8739944
Abstract: An electrically actuated parking brake system includes a control switch in a vehicles cabin, an intelligent controller, a linear actuator, and cables connected between the linear actuator and mechanical parking brakes. The intelligent controller receives signals from the control switch and from one or more electrical device in the vehicle. If any of the signals from the vehicle indicate that the vehicle is in motion, the parking brakes are not actuated. The electrically actuated parking brake system may further include a remote control, and logic in the intelligent controller will allow the parking brakes to be engaged when the vehicle is in motion, remote control is enabled, and the remote control is actuated by a user. The parking brakes may be either drum brakes or disk brakes.

  • Patent number: 7302435
Abstract: A system and method for managing a plurality of content items employs a plurality of storage volumes that may be checked out, with or without previously archived content items stored on them, and that may be checked in, with or without new or changed content items stored on them. The content items may be audio content, video content, audio/video content, or the like. The plurality of storage volumes may be removable hard disk drives, virtual storage, storage locations on a storage device or devices, or the like. When a storage volume is checked in, embodiments of the system and method may detect whether new or changed content items are stored on the storage volume and any new or changed content items may be archived. When a content item is archived, the content may be stored along with related metadata and with an association between the content item and the related metadata.
