    Abstract: A method and apparatus for masonry brick laying of a column, such apparatus employing an apparatus for setting a layer of brick or other structural material, allowing the column of bricks to be placed in a straight, or spiral, format while keeping each layer within the column both plumb and level. Each layer of brick column can consists of a shape that can be square, rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal, etc. whereas such shape can be spiraled from one layer of brick to another. Alternate embodiment of apparatus allows a curvilinear wall to be constructed, guiding each layer of brick as the wall is constructed.
