Abstract: A method and apparatus for purifying a reservoir of water is disclosed employing an elongated lift tube suspended in a water tank for conveying water from and into the reservoir and introducing an air stream containing ozone in the bottom of the lift tube for causing passage of water through a filter into the lift tube upward movement of the water in the lift tube for purifying the water. Magnets (448) with their north poles facing one another are placed on opposite sides of the water received in the lift tube and ozone is diverted into water that is pumped into the reservoir.

Abstract: An improved temperature sensing and control apparatus for a spa is described, which control apparatus is located at the spa. A switching means is disposed in the series electrical circuit of a water heating mechanism. The switching means is remotely controlled as a function of the water temperature and operates in the low voltage and low current range, thereby minimizing a safety hazard.

Abstract: A method of enhancing an embossed translucent flexible sheet material is provided wherein extremely fine lenslets on at least one surface of the sheet material are coated with inking solutions to thereby generate visual display patterns. Further, secondary processing may be added to provide optimum contrast, overall material sparkle and brilliance when viewed from the viewing side.

Abstract: A check valve for substantially preventing fluid flow in a first direction, but allowing a substantially unrestricted fluid flow in a second, opposite direction, the check valve including a tubular body and a flapper valve hingedly disposed within the tubular body so that the flapper valve, which is formed from a diagonally-cut section of tubing, may substantially block the tube by sealing its cut edges against a first inner wall portion of the tubular body and so that its cut edges may also lie substantially flush along a second inner wall portion of the tubular body allowing for substantially unimpeded fluid flow.
