    Abstract: The present invention provides a plant seed obtained by crossing a first plant having reduced protease inhibitor activity with a second plant that is transformed to preferentially express a preselected protein whereby the content of an endogenous protein is diminished in the seed. Also provided are a method of reducing the level of endogenous proteins and a method of producing feed.
