  • Patent number: 10207836
Abstract: A foldable support sleeve that is deployable inside of a waste bag to support the waste bag includes a first side foldably connected to a second side, the second side foldably connected to a third side, the third side foldably connected to a fourth side, and the fourth side foldably connected to a fifth side. The foldable support sleeve may be foldable into a pre-deployed state and into a deployed state. The pre-deployed state may be associated with a first cross section that is smaller than a second cross section associated with the deployed state. The second cross section may be approximately equal to a cross section associated with the waste bag. The fifth side may help retain the foldable support sleeve in the deployed state.

  • Publication number: 20180086492
Abstract: A foldable chute deployable in a bag for placing debris into the bag may include an outer portion residing predominantly outside of the bag when the foldable chute is deployed in the bag. The outer portion may include a chutefront having a leading edge with a pair of side edges, and a pair of support sides foldably connected to the chutefront at the pair of side edges. The foldable chute may further include an inner portion which may reside predominantly inside of the bag when deployed, may connect to the outer portion and may include a pair of retaining sides associated with the pair of support sides. Each retaining side may include a chuteback edge formed at a chute angle measured between the chuteback edge and a line defined by the side edge of the associated support side when foldable chute is in a flattened state.

  • Patent number: 6708742
Abstract: A chute apparatus for collecting leaves and debris includes: (a) an upper chute portion having an open front portion, the chute portion including a back portion with a front end that is wider than its rear end, and two smaller, matching chute sides attached to either side of the back chute portion; and (b) an open-ended lower channel portion connected to the chute portion, the channel portion having four sides: an upper section, a channel back section opposite to the channel upper section, and two narrower channel side sections, which are opposite to one another and which connect the channel upper section to the channel back section. The chute apparatus may also include clips on the sides, or an external ridge, for removably attaching the edges of a trash bag. In one embodiment, which does not include a channel portion, the chute sides are hinged for achieving a folded, storage position and various open positions with different degrees of angle.
