Abstract: Methods, devices and systems are disclosed for inter-app communications between software applications on a mobile communications device. In one aspect, a computer-readable medium on a mobile computing device comprising an inter-application communication data structure to facilitate transitioning and distributing data between software applications in a shared app group for an operating system of the mobile computing device includes a scheme field of the data structure providing a scheme id associated with a target software app to transition to from a source software app, wherein the scheme id is listed on a scheme list stored with the source software app; and a payload field of the data structure providing data and/or an identification where to access data in a shared file system accessible to the software applications in the shared app group, wherein the payload field is encrypted.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

Abstract: A container for storing annular articles, such as a Christmas wreath. The container includes a base member and a lid member pivotally attached thereto. The base member includes an upstanding portion spaced from a side wall portion thereof for receipt of a portion of an annular article therebetween. A latch member secures the lid member to the base member. A removable divider may be received in the base member for receipt of small objects.

The side walls are tapered outwardly so as to be stackable in a nesting relationship within a similar container with a stacking offset less than the support members vertical height whereby the support members are supported on aligned rigid support members of the similar container. Outwardly tapered stress-relieving triangular corner surfaces extend upwardly between 130° and 140° from corners of the bottom wall and connect to side walls to form each junction of the bottom wall with two side wall.

Abstract: A container for storing elongated articles. The container comprises an elongated base member, a caddy member, and a lid member. The base member has upstanding side walls, a closed bottom portion and an open top portion. The caddy member has upstanding side walls, a closed top portion and an open bottom portion that may be received in covering relationship with the base member. The top portion of the caddy member has a recessed storage portion and a handle member. A lid member is received in covering relationship with the caddy member and includes an opening for receipt of the handle member therethrough.

The structure includes two integral spring elements for biasing the latching mechanism upwardly. The latching mechanism and the drawer have cooperating, snap-engageable retaining features that allow the latching mechanism to move over a vertical range of movement but retain the latching mechanism on the structure. The structure and the remaining portions of the drawer can be molded as a unitary plastic part. The latching mechanism can be molded as a second unitary plastic part.

Thin food items are held in the slots in a spaced array to facilitate their cooking in a microwave oven. The chip maker has a handle for transporting it into and out of a microwave oven.
