Abstract: Disclosed is an inclined mobile screen for processing road building materials which provides for easy reconfiguration of the screen from operation configuration to a transport configuration and to a maintenance configuration, which allows for increased clearance between the screen and a feed conveyor without requiring a hydraulic actuator disposed therebetween. Nested telescopic supports are selectively coupled together in an offset connection to allow changes in the orientation of the screen to result in changes in the separation between the screen and the conveyor so as to allow for more clearance therebetween during time of maintenance.

Abstract: A system for creating and viewing simulation models that are used for managing requirements and design specifications for complex systems. Users simultaneously collaborate on the description of a complex system such as an enterprise software project throughout its life cycle. User interfaces, designed to assist in the visualization of a particular form of knowledge, allow users to describe the complex system with simple interactive elements. Information in all perspectives is presented so that it is legible and discernable to a non-technical audience. Multi-dimensional data structures record all the resulting information, creating a simulation model of the complex system, and the tasks required for construction and maintenance. Tasks are driven from the specifications not as a separate activity, but as part of the same activity to facilitate project management by allowing decisions to be tracked virtually throughout the simulation model.

Abstract: A trailer (10, 210 or 310) having a tilting bed (26, 226 or 326) is described. The bed has a front portion (26A) and a back portion (26B) which are pivotably mounted together. The front portion is fixably mounted to the frame (12, 212 or 312) of the trailer. The back portion is able to be lowered to form a ramp for loading and unloading the trailer. A cable and pulley system (40, 240 or 340) is used to raise and lower the back portion of the bed. The cable(s) (50, 250, 251 or 350) of the cable and pulley system can be loosened or tightened using either a winch (52) or a hydraulic winch (266 or 366). The pivot point of the back portion is located in front of the axle (16) of the trailer which creates a longer leverage arm which allows for easier lifting of the back portion of the bed.
