  • Publication number: 20200256282
Abstract: A turbojet comprising a nacelle with a fixed cowl, a fan duct and a thrust reverser comprising a cowl movable between a stowed and a deployed position where the movable cowl is remote from the fixed cowl, at least one blocking flap movable between the closed position and a fixed position where the flap at least partially blocks the fan duct, and also a drive mechanism for moving the movable cowl and the blocking flap. The drive mechanism comprises a roller slide comprising a rail and a roller rotatable in the rail, a connecting rod with a first end movable on the roller and a second end movable on the blocking flap. The rail comprises a bearing surface extending parallel to a turbojet longitudinal axis to support the connecting rod during movement of the movable cowl from the stowed position to an intermediate position between the stowed and deployed positions.

  • Publication number: 20200182194
Abstract: A propulsion system includes a bypass turbine engine and a pylon. The turbine engine includes an engine, two internal cowls, two outer cowls, a first lock for locking the internal cowls to the engine, cascades of vanes fixed to the outer cowl via hooping, wherein the outer cowls are movable in translation with respect to the engine, in which each outer cowl is able to slide parallel to a direction of translation on an internal cowl via a top guideway connection and a bottom guideway connection, and in which each outer cowl is mounted with the ability to slide parallel to the direction of translation on the pylon via an upper guideway connection. The propulsion system makes it possible during maintenance operations to move the outer cowl and the internal fixed structure towards the rear and therefore away from the front cowls to get at the engine.

  • Publication number: 20200164997
Abstract: An acoustic absorption structure includes: at least one acoustic element which has at least one cavity delimited by at least one enclosure comprising at least one first drainage orifice passing through the enclosure, and a rotational indexing system making it possible to position the acoustic element so that at least one first drainage orifice is positioned in proximity to or at a lowest point of the cavity. An aircraft propulsion assembly including such an acoustic absorption structure is also described.

  • Publication number: 20200165975
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an acoustic element of a sound absorption structure including at least one cylindrical, conical or truncated conical chamber obtained from a flat preform shaped and then assembled in order to obtain the cylindrical, conical or truncated conical shape of the chamber. This manufacturing method makes it possible to obtain an acoustic element that has thin walls and is made from a material suited to its environment. An acoustic element obtained using the manufacturing method, a sound absorption structure comprising at least one such acoustic element and an aircraft powerplant comprising at least one such structure are also described.

  • Publication number: 20200164998
Abstract: An acoustic absorption structure comprising a plurality of resonators. Each resonator comprises a first chamber which has a first mouthpiece delimited by an edge pressed against an inner surface of a porous zone of a skin so that the first chamber and the skin delimit a first cavity, a second chamber, in which is positioned the first chamber, which delimits, with the first chamber, a second cavity, at least one acoustic orifice passing through the first chamber, at least one drainage orifice passing through the first chamber and at least one drainage hole passing the second chamber, each drainage orifice and each drainage hole being configured to limit an accumulation of fluid in the resonator. Also, an aircraft propulsive assembly or an aircraft comprising the acoustic absorption structure are provided.

  • Publication number: 20200124090
Abstract: A slide includes a carriage, a guide, and interposed pads allowing the carriage to be moved in translation in a longitudinal direction by relative sliding of the pads on contact surfaces distributed symmetrically on both sides of two planes: a horizontal plane parallel to the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction and a median plane parallel to the longitudinal direction and the vertical direction. The contact surfaces are oriented so as to form with the horizontal plane an angle between 30° and 70° inclusive. This allows a more homogeneous distribution of contact pressures, which tends to center the carriage in its guide, and the wear of the pads is more even between the pads. Such a slide also has an important advantage for the control and monitoring of the wear of the pads.

  • Publication number: 20200072161
Abstract: A structure which absorbs low-frequency sound comprising a perforated skin, a box having two lateral walls in the shape of a strip, that delimit between them an opening, and a bottom opposite the opening connecting the two lateral walls, the lateral walls becoming closer together with increasing distance from the opening to the bottom. The box is attached to the skin at the opening. Each lateral wall extends width-wise between the opening and the bottom. Each box has two tongues, each tongue being strip shaped, extending lengthwise over an entire box length, and width-wise between the opening and the bottom of the box. Each tongue has a first end attached along an edge of the opening and a second, free end which extends towards the bottom, becoming closer to the second end of the other tongue, where each tongue has an arcuate shape along its length.
