  • Patent number: 9869621
Abstract: A test rig combining high-frequency tribological stress and low-cycle fatigue. The test rig includes a first test piece which is fixed to a frame and defines at least one bearing surface, a second test piece which is connected to an actuator for loading the second test piece so that it bears against the at least one bearing surface of the first test piece, a heater configured for heating the test pieces and a vibration generator, such as a shaker, for loading the test pieces in a vibratory manner so as to carry out a fretting fatigue and low-cycle and high-cycle fatigue test. One of the test pieces includes a portion in the shape of a turbine engine rotor blade root and which is inserted in a groove having a shape that is substantially complementary to the other test piece so as to reproduce a turbine engine blade-disc attachment.

  • Patent number: 9810612
Abstract: A low-cycle fatigue test rig reproduces bearing of turbine engine parts. The test rig includes a support member that is fixed to a frame and defines at least one bearing surface. A test piece is connected to a traction element for loading the test piece so that the test piece bears against the at least one bearing surface of the support member. The at least one bearing surface is supported by a support element that is mounted to rotate about a first axis on the support member. The test piece is connected to the traction element for articulation around a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis. The test rig is configured to enable adjusting and locking the support element and the test piece in positions around the above-mentioned axes.

  • Publication number: 20160116387
Abstract: Test rig combining high-frequency tribological stress and low-cycle fatigue, comprising a first test piece which is fixed to a frame and defines at least one bearing surface, a second test piece which is connected to traction means for loading the second test piece so that it bears against the or each bearing surface of the first test piece, means for heating the test pieces and means for loading the test pieces in a vibratory manner so as to carry out a fretting fatigue and low-cycle and high-cycle fatigue test, one of the test pieces comprising a portion which is in the shape of a turbine engine rotor blade root and which is inserted in a groove, the shape of which groove is substantially complementary to the other test piece so as to reproduce a turbine engine blade-disc attachment.

  • Publication number: 20160084744
Abstract: Low-cycle, and optionally combined low-cycle and high-cycle, fatigue test rig, for reproducing bearing of turbine engine parts, comprising a support member which is fixed to a frame and defines at least one bearing surface, and a test piece which is connected to traction means for loading the test piece so that it bears against the or each bearing surface of the member, the or each bearing surface being supported by an element which is mounted so as to rotate about a first axis on the support member, and the test piece being connected to the traction means by means for articulation around a second axis which is substantially perpendicular to the first axis, the rig further comprising means for adjusting and locking the element and the test piece in positions around the above-mentioned axes wherein.

  • Patent number: 9273386
Abstract: A pair of guiding elements is characterized in that at least one of its elements is made of a steel containing at least 0.15 to 0.3% by weight of carbon, 2 to 5% (preferably 2 to 3%) by weight of chromium, at least 0.45% (preferably no greater than 0.9%) by weight of molybdenum, and at least 0.01% by weight and no greater than 0.5% (preferably no greater than 0.3%) of vanadium. This steel is nitrided after being shaped whereby obtaining a compound layer consisting of iron and nitrogen atoms of a thickness ranging from 5 to 50 micrometers. The steel can also contain 0.4% to 1.5% by weight of manganese.
