  • Publication number: 20240165423
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices are disclosed that provide, among other benefits, an adequate and effective pain management that can be implemented as part of surgical planning, pain management, and other applications. An example methodology for reducing post-operative pain of a subject includes administering, daily, for a first number of days before a surgery on the subject and according to a first pre-arranged schedule of administrations, light with one or more wavelengths in the range between approximately 515 nm and approximately 535 nm to the subject. The method further includes administering, daily, for a second number of days following the surgery and according to a second pre-arranged schedule of administrations, light with one or more wavelengths in the range between approximately 515 nm and approximately 535 nm. The light is administered for a time period during each day of the light administration.

  • Patent number: 11857703
Abstract: A fragrance delivery system comprising at least one cartridge containing solid elements loaded by adsorption of an olfactory composition and opened by a grid having holes, the cross-section of which is smaller than the cross-section of the solid elements, wherein the solid elements are made of a polymer ensuring a natural delivery of the fragrances for a period of 6 to 18 months, and in that the cartridge is mounted on a cartridge holder holding the cartridge and connected to a mounting base on a fixed portion by an unstable linkage capable of ensuring an oscillating movement of the cartridge holder around a reference position.

  • Patent number: 11264695
Abstract: This invention concerns a multibeam antenna with adjustable pointing, comprising a single reflection arrangement and a plurality of radiating sources arranged opposite the reflection arrangement and suited to emit and/or receive radiofrequency (RF) signals, the reflection arrangement defining a centre, a focal plane, and a focal point located on the focal plane. The antenna is characterised in that at least one of the radiating sources (‘mobile source’) is movable substantially independently of the or each other radiating source on a scanning surface to adjust the pointing of the antenna, wherein the scanning surface coincides with the focal plane or is tangential to it at the focal point.

  • Patent number: 10918757
Abstract: An anti-condensation housing includes a connector to connect to a diffusing head configured to nebulize a product to diffuse. The housing includes a conduit having an inlet for a nebulized product, an outlet opening at a diffusing end, of the conduit, a fan at an insufflating end of the conduit. The fan generates a flow of air between the insufflating end and the diffusing end of the conduit. An internal surface of the conduit extending along a direction perpendicular to the direction of the air flow creates an obstacle for the progress of the air flow in the conduit. A retainer to retain the nebulized product stopped by the internal surface. A device to diffuse a product implementing the anti-condensation housing and a method for diffusing a product using such a device are provided.

  • Patent number: 10881728
Abstract: The invention relates to novel compositions and methods for diagnosing or treating food allergies. The invention particularly discloses new approaches for delivering food allergens to allergic patients by oral administration of formulations which dissolve and release proteins in the stomach. The invention allows the treatment of food allergies by delivering food allergens to the gut immune system with controlled exposure of the esophagus or oral cavity. The invention also allows to perform food challenges to assess the threshold of clinical reactivity without exposing the esophagus and oral cavity. The invention may be used in any subject, particularly human subjects, and is applicable to any food allergen.

  • Patent number: 10075399
Abstract: The sharing of media contents between users is implemented in the context of a media content exchange whose topic is media content. Users may contribute by adding contribution media contents that forms a contribution to the topic relatively to a portion of the topic media content. The server application registers for each contribution association data representing the contribution and sends messages to the users participating to the media content exchange on the basis of the registered association data. The association data represent an association between the portion of the topic media content and the contribution media contents. The contribution of a user may be reproduced on the device of another user on the basis of contribution reproduction data received from the server application.

  • Patent number: 9404425
Abstract: A regulator device (10) for regulating a turbine engine (3). The regulator device (10) includes mechanical power take-off means (100) for taking off power mechanically from a gas generator (4), and an engine computer (20) controlling said engine (3) to comply with at least a first limitation (LimTET, LimT45) of a temperature (TET, T45) of the gas within the engine, and with a second limitation (LimNg) of a speed of rotation (Ng) of the gas generator (4). The engine computer (20) determines whether the speed of rotation (Ng) of the gas generator has reached said second limitation (LimNg), and whether said temperature (TET, T45) has reached said first limitation (LimTET, LimT45). An avionics computer (30) causes the mechanical power take-off means (100) to operate if the speed of rotation (Ng) of the gas generator (4) has reached said second limitation (LimNg), and if said temperature (TET, T45) has not reached said first limitation (LimTET, LimT45).
