Abstract: Methods, systems and devices are disclosed that provide, among other benefits, an adequate and effective pain management that can be implemented as part of surgical planning, pain management, and other applications. An example methodology for reducing post-operative pain of a subject includes administering, daily, for a first number of days before a surgery on the subject and according to a first pre-arranged schedule of administrations, light with one or more wavelengths in the range between approximately 515 nm and approximately 535 nm to the subject. The method further includes administering, daily, for a second number of days following the surgery and according to a second pre-arranged schedule of administrations, light with one or more wavelengths in the range between approximately 515 nm and approximately 535 nm. The light is administered for a time period during each day of the light administration.

Abstract: An anti-condensation housing includes a connector to connect to a diffusing head configured to nebulize a product to diffuse. The housing includes a conduit having an inlet for a nebulized product, an outlet opening at a diffusing end, of the conduit, a fan at an insufflating end of the conduit. The fan generates a flow of air between the insufflating end and the diffusing end of the conduit. An internal surface of the conduit extending along a direction perpendicular to the direction of the air flow creates an obstacle for the progress of the air flow in the conduit. A retainer to retain the nebulized product stopped by the internal surface. A device to diffuse a product implementing the anti-condensation housing and a method for diffusing a product using such a device are provided.

The invention particularly discloses new approaches for delivering food allergens to allergic patients by oral administration of formulations which dissolve and release proteins in the stomach. The invention allows the treatment of food allergies by delivering food allergens to the gut immune system with controlled exposure of the esophagus or oral cavity. The invention also allows to perform food challenges to assess the threshold of clinical reactivity without exposing the esophagus and oral cavity. The invention may be used in any subject, particularly human subjects, and is applicable to any food allergen.
