Patent number: 11953478Abstract: Each of one or more unknown compounds are separated from a sample over a separation time period. Separated compounds are ionized, producing one or more compound precursor ions for each of the unknown compounds and a plurality of background precursor ions. A precursor ion mass spectrum is measured for the combined compound and background precursor ions at each time step of a plurality of time steps spread across the separation time period, producing a plurality of precursor ion mass spectra. One or more background precursor ions are selected from the plurality of precursor ion mass spectra that have a resolving power in a range below a threshold expected resolving power. A separation time is detected for an unknown compound when a decrease in an intensity measurement of the selected background precursor ions over a time period exceeds a threshold decrease in intensity with respect to time.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: DH Technologies Development Pte. Publication number: 20240096387Abstract: A memory device comprising a programmable command-and-address (CA) interface and/or a programmable data interface is described. In an operational mode, two or more CA interfaces may be active. In another operational mode, at least one, but not all, CA interfaces may be active. In an operational mode, all of the data interfaces may be active. In another operational mode, at least one, but not all, data interfaces may be active. The memory device can include circuitry to select: an operational mode; a sub-mode within an operational mode; one or more CA interfaces as the active CA interface(s); a main CA interface from multiple active CA interfaces; and/or one or more data interfaces as the active data interfaces. Patent number: 10963860Abstract: A transaction record linked to photos taken within geographic or temporal proximity to the various transactions of the record may create a visual way for consumers to interact with their transaction data. Payment transaction data including a customer identifier, a first geo-location of a point-of-sale terminal, and a transaction time stamp may be compared against a second geo-location of a user device associated with the customer identifier. In response to the first geo-location being within a predetermined distance of the second geo-location, an image may be retrieved or created. Transaction records may then show the payment transaction data and the image.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2016Date of Patent: March 30, 2021Assignee: VISA INTERNATIONAL SERVICE ASSOCIATIONInventors: Karla Reyes, Lawrence Ho, Leonardo Collado, Jaesung Park, Jinsheng Hu

Publication number: 20160378545Abstract: Methods and systems for enhanced computer performance improve software application execution in a computer system using, for example, a symmetrical multi-processing operating system including OS kernel services in kernel space of main memory, by using groups of related applications isolated areas in user space, such as containers, and using a reduced set of application group specific set of resource management services stored with each application group in user space, rather than the OS kernel facilities in kernel space, to manage shared resources during execution of an application, process or thread from that group. The reduced sets of resource management services may be optimized for the group stored therewith. Execution of each group may be exclusive to a different core of a multi-core processor and multiple groups may therefore execute separately and simultaneously on the different cores.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2016Publication date: December 29, 2016Applicant: APL Software Inc.Inventor: Lap-Wah Lawrence Ho

Patent number: 6597777Abstract: On a transaction network that supports short-duration electronic transactions within multiple service classes between input terminals and host processors, such as for credit card purchases, a network anomaly detector monitors the network to determine a potential fault either on or off the network before an actual network failure occurs. The network anomaly detector is provided with current transaction data for ongoing transactions, which data for each transaction includes the service class of the transaction, the start time of the transaction and the duration of the transaction. The current transaction data is converted to a traffic intensity, which provides a temporal measure of the traffic on the network within each predetermined binning interval for each service class.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 1999Date of Patent: July 22, 2003Assignee: Lucent Technologies Inc.Inventor: Lap-Wah Lawrence Ho
