  • Publication number: 20240101580
Abstract: Described herein are crystalline forms of (R)-3-(2-(trans-4-(2-aminoethylamino)cyclohexyl)acetamido)-2-hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[e][1,2]oxaborinine-8-carboxylic acid. In some embodiments, the crystalline forms are formulated for treating a subject in need thereof with a bacterial infection.

  • Publication number: 20240096627
Abstract: A method of forming a structure for etch masking that includes forming first dielectric spacers on sidewalls of a plurality of mandrel structures and forming non-mandrel structures in space between adjacent first dielectric spacers. Second dielectric spacers are formed on sidewalls of an etch mask having a window that exposes a connecting portion of a centralized first dielectric spacer. The connecting portion of the centralized first dielectric spacer is removed. The mandrel structures and non-mandrel structures are removed selectively to the first dielectric spacers to provide an etch mask. The connecting portion removed from the centralized first dielectric spacer provides an opening connecting a first trench corresponding to the mandrel structures and a second trench corresponding to the non-mandrel structures.

  • Publication number: 20080268485
Abstract: This invention relates to an iconic display of pre-event or post-event iconic markers for a meter and a method for marking an analyte concentration with a pre-event or post-event iconic marker. The meter includes at least one segment on a display adapted to show a pre-event or post-event iconic marker. The user can interact with the meter via a button on the meter. The button allows the user to scroll from pre-event, post-event, and neither iconic marker, and it also allows the user to select one or neither of the iconic markers. A memory device located within the meter stores the analyte concentration with the corresponding pre-event, post-event, or neither iconic marker.

  • Patent number: 5477205
Abstract: An alarm system incorporates a three-position wall switch which replaces a conventional two position switch, connected in circuit with a conventional exterior light fixture. The conventional light bulb in the exterior fixture is replaced by an adapter to which is connected an alarm unit and which receives the exterior light bulb. The three-position switch operates the light bulb at one half normal intensity in its normal mode and in its alarm position illuminates the bulb at its rated intensity and at the same time activates the alarm unit. The alarm may include a strobe light and horn for providing a visual and audible alarm. The alarm unit fits within the exterior light fixture and may include an auxiliary switch to allow it to be enabled or disabled as desired, while allowing the light bulb to provide two levels of brightness.

  • Patent number: 5392764
Abstract: A gynecological speculum for insertion through a vaginal orifice into a vaginal cavity for performing medical examinations or surgical procedures. The gynecological speculum comprises a tubular section having an open insertion end and an open user end and an interior surface and an exterior surface. A projection is provided on the exterior surface to engage the vaginal orifice and retain the speculum within the vaginal cavity after insertion. In a preferred embodiment, the tubular section tapers outwardly from the open insertion end to the open user end. In an alternative embodiment, a vacuum tube is connected to the tubular section for a evacuating the vaginal cavity by suction during medical proceedings.

  • Patent number: 4809439
Abstract: A carpet scribing device and gauge for measuring the size of a carpet module adjoining a baseboard. The device comprises a rod on which is slidably mounted a block encased in a bracket having a dependent portion which abuts against the edge of laid carpeting. The end of the rod which abuts against the floor board is provided with a needle extending angularly downwardly with its point in vertical alignment with said end of the rod. By reversal of the block on the rod, the device is useful for carpeting stairs.
