  • Publication number: 20240117945
Abstract: A system for leak detection and containment is disclosed. The system comprises an impermeable containment casing comprising of a solid extruded material wherein the containment casing encompasses a pipeline deployed therein. The system may further comprise a plurality of separating strips to create an annulus between the pipeline and the containment casing forming one or more flow channels, such that during a leak material leaked from the pipeline flows along a predetermined direction within the one or more flow channels. The containment casing prevents movement of the material leaked from the pipeline to an environment external to the casing. The system may further comprise a plurality of sensors to provide notification of the leak to a user device.

  • Patent number: 10592234
Abstract: A first client computing device, including a display and a processor. The processor may execute a distributed source code authoring management system client configured to communicate with a codebase host server. The processor may output a graphical user interface (GUI) of the distributed source code authoring management system client and may receive a first edit to a code file in an editor window included in the GUI. The editor window may provide real-time mark-up of the code file. In response to the first edit, the processor may transmit change set information including the first edit to a codebase host server. The processor may receive, from the codebase host server, a first conflict notification indicating that the first edit and a second edit to the code file have a pending merge conflict. The processor may output the first conflict notification to the display for display in the editor window.

  • Patent number: 9021428
Abstract: Tools and techniques support troubleshooting live application visuals, including transient markup expression issues in XAML or HTML. A LADRT module supports troubleshooting without pausing application execution to help inspect and modify visual construct properties, and to identify and alter source code pertaining to a selected visual construct. Changes are serialized back to the application program source code and reflected in real time in the executing application, without a rebuild. Markup annotation preserves pre-evaluation versions of markup expressions for binding, static resource identification, and custom purposes. Markup annotation also correlates visual constructs and source code. The LADRT module operates independently of debuggers, and may autoload with the application. Program project and source code changes are not required for troubleshooting capability.

  • Publication number: 20120005102
Abstract: A method and system for anonymous communication between a consumer and a provider are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises receiving a first input from a consumer, the first input including an indication of intent to purchase a desired product. A plurality of providers is queried based on the first input to locate a matching provider, and the matching provider is notified about the consumer through a notification lead without revealing an identity of the consumer. Anonymous communications are provided regarding a purchase of the desired product between the consumer and the matching provider, wherein the anonymous communications include a price negotiation.

  • Patent number: 7598956
Abstract: Combined object level and property level key framing systems, methods, and user interfaces are provided in which a user can enter a mode where any change to a property is recorded as a key framing action (e.g., creation or edit) at the current time as indicated by a timeline. When a key frame is created in this mode, the surrounding object level key frames are inspected to ensure that the functionality that users expect from object level key frames is maintained. If a user explicitly creates an animation of an attribute that spans an object level key frame, then that span for the animation is maintained as the user edits.

  • Publication number: 20070063917
Abstract: A ground plane apparatus (200) has a plurality of substantially planar ground plane surfaces (201) that are connected, arranged, and configured to substantially form a pyramid-shaped object. A plurality of radiating antennas (202) are then provided with at least one such antenna being mounted on each of the plurality of substantially planar ground plan surfaces such that a line of sight (205) between tips of adjacent radiating antennas is substantially occluded by at least one of the substantially planar ground plan surfaces. An electrically conductive raised surface (401) may be mounted along adjacent edges of the substantially planar ground plane surfaces. Such raised surfaces may further aid in more fully occluding the line of sight between adjacent radiating antennas. As another optional approach, additional shorted antennas (501) are also mounted along at least some of the above-noted adjacent edges to further aid in occluding this line of sight.

  • Publication number: 20060127408
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of polycomb group proteins as a tumour-associated antigens. Polycomb group proteins are highly involved in body architecture development, haematopoiesis and cell cycle control. Aberrant expression of polycomb proteins has been linked with haematological malignancies, mainly lymphomas. This invention relates to the use of these polycomb group proteins as antigens for cancer immunotherapy. Immunological responses can be raised against these proteins and such responses are active against polycomb protein over-expressing tumour cells.

  • Patent number: 4807952
Abstract: A voltage-induced optical waveguide modulator is disclosed in which the inter-electrode gap is significantly reduced to a width on the order of 4 microns. The use of a dielectric layer between the electrodes and the electro-optic substrate is disclosed. A ridge of the electro-optic substrate between the electrodes is also disclosed. The dimensions of the device and operating voltage may consequently be signficantly reduced.

  • Patent number: 4758060
Abstract: A high voltage sensor using an integrated optical Mach-Zehnder device is disclosed. A capacitive divider for sensing the electric field is connected to an electrode adjacent one of the parallel waveguide sections, while a second electrode adjacent the other section is grounded. The capacitive divider may be fabricated on the same substrate as the Mach-Zehnder device. Two similar devices which can be immersed in the electric field are also disclosed. In one case the device uses a Mach-Zehnder device having waveguides of the slab type. In this variation materials having two different refractive indices, both of which are low relative to the high index slab form the superstrates of the parallel waveguide sections. In the second variation, a Mach-Zehnder device having waveguides of the diffusion type is used. Thin films of high refractive index material are deposited over the two parallel waveguide sections, with the thickness and/or refractive index of the two film sections being different.
