Abstract: An improved automobile racing board game including a game board having a race track thereon comprising a plurality of contiguous lanes with a start/finish line and winner's circle is disclosed. Player game pieces resembling racing cars are provided for marking each player's position on the track during play. At least one score chart is provided for recording the number of laps completed by each player during the game. Players select game pieces as desired and the order of play is established by drawing from a plurality of qualifying cards having speed indicia thereon with the player having the highest speed receiving the "pole position" at the starting line inside lane. Play alternates among the players with the quantity of each move being determined by chance including standard dice and another supplemental die. The supplemental chance die provides some advantage or set back to the player who opts to utilize it.
