  • Publication number: 20240168813
Abstract: Techniques are provided for visualizing a run of a workflow on a GUI. The techniques include: (a) rendering an origin node of the workflow at a central position and an innermost ring therearound; (b) adding to the first ring, independent nodes representing respective tasks invoked by the workflow that are not dependent on any other task in order of invocation in a distributed manner, together with edges drawn from the origin node to respective added independent nodes; (c) rendering one or more outer rings around the innermost ring; and (d) adding to each of the outer rings, dependent nodes representing respective tasks invoked by the workflow that are dependent on another task represented by another node on another ring closer to the origin node in order of invocation in a distributed manner together with edges drawn to each added dependent node from all nodes representing tasks upon which the respective task represented by that dependent node is dependent.

  • Publication number: 20240069960
Abstract: Techniques are provided for orchestrating runs of a task or workflow. The techniques include: (a) receiving, by an orchestration engine running on the computing device, a request from a run of a task or workflow to transition states from an initial state to a proposed target state; (b) assessing, by the orchestration engine with reference to a set of orchestration rules, whether the run is permitted to transition from the initial state to the proposed target state; and (c) in response to the orchestration engine determining that the run is permitted to transition states, writing the state change to a database and returning permission to the run to transition states.

  • Patent number: 11481263
Abstract: A system for the remote execution of one or more arbitrarily defined workflows comprises a workflow engine operative to perform one or more functions defined in a given workflow on customer computing infrastructure and a workflow administrator with access to a workflow database that maintains metadata defining the state of the given workflow, the workflow administrator remote from the workflow engine and not running on the customer computing infrastructure. A workflow administrator agent polls the workflow administrator to identify when the given workflow is scheduled for execution and, when scheduled, issues a command to the workflow engine to retrieve the given workflow from a workflow registry and perform the one or more functions defined in the given workflow on the customer computing infrastructure. The workflow administrator agent transmits state information regarding execution of the given workflow to the workflow administrator for storage in the workflow database.

  • Publication number: 20210283413
Abstract: A method of affecting a biological, cellular or biochemical function or structure in a targeted subcortical location in a brain of a patient using a TRPMS apparatus placed on a head of the patient includes positioning two or more of a plurality of magnetic assemblies on locations of the head mount selected to stimulate the targeted subcortical location in the brain of the patient, and activating the plurality of magnetic assemblies at the selected locations to generate magnetic fluxes of a selected strength, frequency and duration directed into the brain of the patient,/wherein the magnetic flux directed into the brain of the patient from each of the assemblies is operative to generate induced electric field in regions of the brain and the regions of induced electric fields generated by each of the plurality of magnetic assemblies converge in the targeted subcortical location and combine to a magnitude sufficient to affect the biological, cellular or biochemical function or structure in the targeted subcortic
