  • Publication number: 20010054038
Abstract: A method is described for supplying management services for a plurality of industrial cleaning processes or machines at remote sites and/or operated by different organizations. A service center computer is provided with a database for storing process/machine information together with a process/machine identification. Information on the processes/machines is obtained in the service center computer and the information is processed to generate reports on the processes or operation of the machines of a plurality of organizations. A website is provided via which each organization can obtain the reports on its processes or machines. In a system for supplying management services for a plurality of industrial cleaning processes or machines at remote sites and/or operated by different organizations, a service center computer is operated by a service organization at a location remote from the location(s) of the local units.

  • Publication number: 20010053939
Abstract: A method is described for supplying maintenance and operational support services from a service center for a plurality of industrial cleaning processes or machines at remote sites and/or operated by different organizations. A local unit is provided at each process or machine, which is programmed to forward process/machine information with a process/machine identification to the service center. At the service center a service center computer with a database containing contact information with corresponding process/machine identifications, obtains maintenance information from the process/machine information, wherein the process/machine identification is used by the service center computer to forward the maintenance information to the corresponding contact. In a system for monitoring a plurality of industrial cleaning processes or machines, each machine uses a local unit with a plurality of sensors for sensing operating parameters of the process or machine.

  • Publication number: 20010047214
Abstract: A system is described for monitoring an industrial cleaning process or machine. A plurality of operating devices are used for controlling the process or operation of the machine. The system comprises a processing unit and a plurality of sensors for sensing operating parameters of the process or machine. The sensors provide parameter dependent signals to the processing unit. At least one set of at least two sensors sensing mutually dependent parameters is provided and the processing unit is programmed with at least one algorithm using as input signals the parameter dependent signals of a set of sensors sensing mutual dependent parameters. The algorithm comprises an alarm setting for at least one of the input signals and this alarm setting is activated by at least the other input signal.

  • Patent number: 6253968
Abstract: A method is provided for dosing powdered material from a supply container having a vertically suspending discharge tube of an elastically deformable material, by squeezing said discharge tube at locations, which periodically move along a part of the discharge tube length. In this method, the squeezing of the discharge tube is effected in a similar way as the flexible tube of a peristaltic pump of the type, with which the tube engages a support wall on one side and with which a peristaltic mechanism is provided on the opposite side for squeezing the tube according to a travelling wave, the length of which does not exceed one single wave length.

  • Patent number: 5842599
Abstract: A method of delivering a liquid detergent product which may be caustic, is described. In particular, a predetermined volume of water is dosed into a container using a flow meter, a valve means, and, optionally, a water supply pump means. A pump means is activated to deliver the liquid detergent product into the container until it is completely filled as controlled by a level sensor located in the container. The contents of the container are then delivered. A device for carrying out the method is also described.

  • Patent number: 5366654
Abstract: Rinse aid compositions based on alkyl polyglycoside surfactants attack plastics, in particular polycarbonate, to a much lesser degree than rinse aid compositions based on other types of nonionic surfactants. It is preferred that the compositions also comprise an anti-foam agent, preferably a ketone having more than 25 carbon atoms.
