The electric motorcycle includes a frame, a battery, a motor electronically connected to the battery, a chain connecting the motor to a rear wheel, and a dual-sided swing arm configured to maintain the rear wheel, the dual-sided swing arm comprising a right side swing arm spar and a left side swing arm spar, the dual-sided swing arm joined to the frame at a pivot point forward of the rear wheel. The motor is positioned within the dual-sided swing arm at a motor location between the pivot point and the rear wheel.

Abstract: A vehicle is provided, including a receiver configured to receive a vehicle performance alteration command from a computing device, a controller configured to receive the vehicle performance alteration command from the receiver and provide a performance altering command, a power source configured to receive the performance altering command from the controller, and an electrically driven hardware element configured to receive electrical power from the power source. The controller is configured to alter operation of the power source to effectuate vehicle performance in accordance with the vehicle performance alteration command.
