  • Publication number: 20240071593
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

  • Patent number: 11152097
Abstract: A portable medical device for injecting a medicament into a patient. The device includes a control circuit with a memory, the control circuit automatically storing in the memory an ejection event including an amount of the medicament that is ejected from the portable medical device during the ejection event; and a proximity sensor configured to sense proximity of a solid object located in an ejection direction of the portable medical device without making contact with the solid object. The control circuit is configured to tag the ejection event as an injection event if the ejection takes place in proximity of the solid object and to tag the ejection event as a priming ejection if the ejection does not take place in proximity of the solid object.

  • Patent number: 11130264
Abstract: A transfer device with unrolling device, intended for providing a label handling system in an IML machine (In Mould Labelling) with IML labels. The transfer device comprises at least four holders, which are movable between a first and a second position, wherein the first position has a first predetermined relationship between the four or several holders regarding the distance in the X-direction. The holders are intended for retrieval of IML labels from the unrolling device, which comprises a label web, the length of which extends in the Y-direction, with partially stamped out labels, connected to the web with micro connections. The second position has a second predetermined relationship between the four or several holders regarding distance in the X-direction. The holders are intended to deliver the IML labels to the label handling system.

  • Patent number: 10865007
Abstract: A label picking apparatus includes an anvil having a cavity and a picking element. A support surface surrounding the cavity and a picking surface of the picking element are respectively connectable to an under pressure source for respectively holding a web of material to the support surface and pre-cut label to the picking surface, the pre-cut label attached with the web of material with micro material bridges. The picking surface moveable into the cavity to release the label from the web. The picking surface has an inner surface and an outer surface. The outer surface is formed from ends of protrusions that each extend from the inner surface, the protrusions of the picking surface made from high-friction material.
