  • Publication number: 20100278174
Abstract: The present invention is a method, a node and a user terminal for roaming in an IP based main network. A node, in a sub-network of said main network receives a registration request from a user terminal belonging to said sub-network, wherein the registration request comprises an unique extension identity. The node is configured to determine whether said unique extension identity belongs to the sub-network of the requesting user terminal. In case said extension identity belongs to another sub-network, the node will request a routing server of the sub-network for an IP-address of a home sub-network for said unique extension identity. The routing server is configured to respond the IP address of the requested home sub-network. The node will transmit the IP address to the requesting user terminal for enabling the transmission of a registration request using the IP address to the home sub-network from said user terminal.

  • Patent number: 7542780
Abstract: A PBX (10) is connected to a mobile telephony network (40) via a PSTN (20) and via a LAN (90) and data network (30). A mobile telephone (50) served by the mobile network, has a separate data channel (100). The invention describes a way to integrate mobile telephones as extensions of the PBX and to provide them with functionality similar to that of a wired digital PBX system telephone (70). The data channel of the mobile telephone is used to give the PBX access to the user interface devices of the telephone. The speech path between the PBX and the mobile telephone may be set up in the direction from the PBX to the mobile telephone, even when the call was initiated at the telephone. The invention relies only on the basic voice and data communications services of the mobile telephony network, and therefore provides independence from the network operator.

  • Publication number: 20040234984
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for deletion of antibiotic resistance and/or plasmid stabilisation. The invention includes the steps of constructing a vector comprising an antibiotic resistance gene surrounded by a direct repeat sequence gene. This direct repeat gene may be an essential gene or a Rek-sequence. In the latter case the essential gene with a suitable promoter is presented in the vector. A host cell is transformed with the vector obtained, followed by deletion of the essential chromosomal gene in the host cell and deletion of the antibiotic resistance gene in the vector in the cell. The essential gene infA is preferred. The invention also relates to a method of stable maintenance of a vector in a host cell, a method of producing DNA in the cell and a method of producing amino acids, preptides and proteins in the cell.

  • Patent number: 6044082
Abstract: The present invention relates to a private branch exchange, a telecommunication system comprising such an exchange and methods of transmitting signals in subrate channels of a fullrate channel. The exchange comprises a switch control means, which allocates subrate traffic channels of the fullrate channel to voice and data, and a channel handling device (44), which comprises at least one voice channel means (66, 68, 70) connected to a respective channel input (22, 24, 26) and being arranged to compress signals appearing on this input (22, 24) or to pass at least part of each signal through unaffected. The compressed or passed signals are fed to a multiplexer (76), which multiplexes signals incoming from the voice channel means to outgoing signals for sending in a fullrate channel on a first telecommunication line (14). A demultiplexer (78) is also included for demultiplexing signals in a fullrate channel.

  • Patent number: 5838781
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for establishing a bearer capability classification of a received, incoming call to an ISDN exchange, the received call has a directory number, but no or faulty bearer capability classification. The method includes the steps of setting a default bearer capability to the call and if the call requires a different bearer capability then the bearer capability is being converted to the required bearer capability class.
