  • Patent number: 10458563
Abstract: A valve arrangement including: a valve inlet, a valve outlet arranged downstream of the valve inlet, a first chamber arranged directly downstream of the inlet, and a second chamber arranged between the first chamber and the valve outlet. The valve arrangement further includes a measuring nipple comprising a measuring channel for receiving a measuring device, and a closing arrangement having open positions and a closed position, wherein the closing arrangement in its closed position is configured to prevent fluid communication between the first chamber and the second chamber via the closing arrangement, and wherein the closing arrangement in its open positions is configured to allow for fluid communication between the first chamber and the second chamber via the closing arrangement.

  • Patent number: 7735514
Abstract: The description relates to a device for the regulation of the amount of a medium in a heating or cooling system, comprising a combined valve, which in one and the same valve housing includes one part for pressure difference regulation (2) and one part for flow limitation (3), the flow being limited in a stepless, adjustable way, i.e. the device obtaining an adjustable Kvs-value. Also, the chosen Kvs-value can be limited by a plunger, which always can operate with its complete stroke length.

  • Patent number: 7621461
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the invention, a system for regulating a temperature of a fluid through a conduit comprises a conduit, a moveable obstruction, an actuator, and a pressure generator. The conduit has an inlet, an outlet, and an opening between the inlet and the outlet. The inlet is operable to receive fluid into the conduit and the outlet is operable to dispense of fluid out of the conduit. The moveable obstruction is operable to at least partially cover the opening and thereby resist flow of fluid through the opening. The actuator has a chamber with a heat sensitive substance. The heat sensitive substance is operable to change a characteristic upon receipt of thermal energy from fluid traveling through the conduit. The actuator is additionally operable to move the obstruction upon the change in characteristic of the heat sensitive substance. The pressure generator is operable to apply pressure to the chamber to change a property of the heat sensitive substance.

  • Patent number: 5566711
Abstract: A combined control and regulating valve (1) having a housing (2) with an inlet (3) and an outlet (4) as well as a partition (5) between said inlet and outlet and having a seat (6) designed for an interaction with a main valve body (7), which is adjustable from outside. To said inlet and said outlet are connected a measuring nipple each (50 and 74, respectively) via a bore (30, 31 and 40, 41 respectively) for the measurement and the control of temperature and/or pressure. One of the measuring nipples is designed as a multiple function nipple (50) having a cut-off-valve permitting tapping and filling of the medium, which is to be controlled/regulated.
