  • Patent number: 11198990
Abstract: A method for determining a load in a working machine including a linkage to be connected to an implement includes determining pressure in a first hydraulic cylinder and pressure in a second hydraulic cylinder arranged to control the linkage and determining at least one link angle between at least two links in the linkage. The method further includes, for a selected linkage bearing, determining at least two perpendicular force components acting on the selected linkage bearing, based on the determined pressure in each of the first and second cylinders and the at least one link angle; and determining a load on the selected linkage bearing as a linear combination of the at least two perpendicular force components using predetermined constants for the linear combination.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 26, 2018
Date of Patent: December 14, 2021
    Assignee: Volvo Construction Equipment AB
Inventors: Manoranjan Kumar, Lennart Skogh, Torbjörn Ekevid
  • Publication number: 20210140147
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a working machine, wherein the working machine is provided with an image projection arrangement specifically adapted for projecting an image at a surface of an external component comprised with the working machine. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding method and computer program for such a working machine.

  • Patent number: 9328478
Abstract: A method for controlling a working machine provided with a bucket as a work implement by which a lifting force can be exerted on an object such as a gravel pile, and at least one ground engaging element by which a traction force can be exerted on the same object is provided. A state input indicative of a current bucket state is received, the bucket height being a parameter of the current bucket state, determining a lifting force eliminating speed of the power source (“LFES”) at the current bucket state, the LFES being the speed at and above which no lifting force could be achieved considering a reaction force acting on the bucket caused by the traction force, and the speed of the power source is controlled not to reach the LFES in order that at least some lifting force could be achieved.
