  • Publication number: 20190294548
Abstract: Aspects of a prefetch module for high throughput memory transfers is described. Data stored in a row buffer of a memory device can be quickly transferred over a serial link to a prefetch buffer. In one example, a number of respective serial links can be used to transfer the data stored in several row buffers of respective memory devices to the prefetch buffer. In the prefetch buffer, all the data from the memory devices is stored in a data cache. Once the data is cached at the prefetch buffer, a memory controller can access it more quickly in any suitable way. As compared to conventional approaches, the embodiments can be relied upon to avoid a significant amount of latency in memory read and write operations with memory modules.

  • Patent number: 7302860
Abstract: A panel testing device includes a frame, a first roller assembly pivotally mounted to the frame including a first roller and a second roller spaced apart from and substantially parallel to the first roller. The panel testing device also includes a second roller assembly pivotally mounted to the frame having a third roller and a fourth roller spaced apart from and substantially parallel to the third roller. The device is configured such that the first and third rollers may be engaged with a first side of a test panel and the second and fourth rollers may be engaged with a second side of the test panel. The first and second roller assemblies are pivoted in opposing directions to bend the panel. A LASER displacement sensor is mounted on a movable manipulator measures the deflection of the panel as the panel is bent.

  • Publication number: 20070246218
Abstract: A safety valve having a mono spring closure mechanism. The closure mechanism may be free of any spiral wound spring. The closure mechanism may include a spring having a beam which bends along its length to apply a biasing force to the closure member at its fully closed position and at its fully open position. The closure mechanism may include only a single spring, with the spring having at least two legs, the legs being joined to each other at an end of each leg, and each leg including at least one beam.

  • Publication number: 20050039922
Abstract: A safety valve having an extension spring closure mechanism. In a described embodiment, a valve for use in a subterranean well is provided which includes a biasing device and a closure member having open and closed positions. The biasing device has a length which decreases as the closure member displaces toward the closed position. The biasing device may be an extension spring.
