  • Patent number: 10694390
Abstract: A technique includes identifying a cellular communication frequency band and a wireless local area network communication channel being used by a wireless station. Based on the identified cellular communication frequency band and wireless local area network communication channel, assignment of the wireless local area network communication channel is regulated to inhibit interference due to the concurrent use of the cellular communication frequency band and the wireless local area network communication channel. The regulation of the assignment includes using the wireless station to determine whether to reassign the wireless local area network communication channel.

  • Patent number: 9865914
    Abstract: A display (122, 622, 722) comprising a display screen (142, 742) is repositionable with respect to a deck (20, 120, 220, 520, 720) comprising keys (24, 724). The display (122, 622, 722) is repositionable between a raised position and a lowered horizontal position. An antenna (28, 528, 628, 728) is located within the deck (20, 120, 220, 520, 720) at a location outwardly beyond the display (122, 622, 722) when the display (122, 622, 722) is in the lowered horizontal position.

  • Publication number: 20110306297
Abstract: In at least some embodiments, a computer system includes a first wireless technology (FWT) module and a second wireless technology (SWT) module. The computer system also comprises control logic coupled to the FWT module and the SWT module. The control logic determines if the FWT and SWT modules are both turned on and, if so, disables at least one SWT antenna based on its proximity to a FWT antenna being less than a predetermined distance while enabling at least one other FWT antenna.
