    Abstract: A connector used with a cartridge for delivering fluid is provided. The cartridge can be used in a lotion application machine. The connector has a base and a locking section, which are operatively connected to each other and collectively define a passageway in fluid communication with the cartridge. The base has a bottom plate for attaching the connector to the cartridge. The locking section has a lower portion for connecting the base and an upper portion for connecting a fitting member used in the lotion application machine. The upper portion has a breakable protrusion. The breakable protrusion engages a locking element of the fitting member when the upper portion is connected to the fitting member, to temporarily lock the fitting member to the connector. The breakable protrusion can break away from the locking section when a predetermined force is applied to disconnect the fitting member from the connector.
