  • Patent number: 11529938
Abstract: A method for operating an electromechanical brake booster. A pedal force is ascertained, a brake pressure is ascertained from the pedal force by an actuator, and the brake pressure applied to frictional brakes is set, thereby producing a vehicle deceleration. The actuator has a standard configuration wherein, in response to the pedal force, a brake pressure is ascertained that produces a specified standard deceleration of the motor vehicle if a specified disturbance variable has a specified standard value. The influence of the disturbance variable on the vehicle deceleration is compensated. The actuator has at least one control parameter for setting a compensation configuration, an actual value of the disturbance variable is detected, and the compensation configuration is set based on the respective difference between the ascertained actual value and the standard value.

  • Publication number: 20190009762
Abstract: A hydraulic brake for a motor vehicle in which one inlet valve and one outlet valve, configured in the switchable fashion, is respectively made available for at least one wheel, wherein the inlet valve is fluidly coupled to the outlet valve downstream of the inlet valve via a brake pressure line, and wherein a hydraulic accumulator for storing hydraulic fluid is made available downstream of the outlet valve. The hydraulic accumulator is reaction-free in a recuperative braking mode. The brake pressure line is coupled to a piston of a brake lining of a friction brake of the wheel via a valve arrangement, wherein the valve arrangement has a first valve which opens only towards the piston, and a second valve which opens only towards the brake pressure line, and wherein an opening pressure of the first valve is higher than a residual pressure brought about by the hydraulic accumulator.

  • Patent number: 8224548
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of preventing a vehicle in a starting maneuver from rolling in a direction opposite a direction selected to move the vehicle during the starting maneuver. A brake force is built up or maintained on at least one wheel brake during standstill of the vehicle. The method is characterized in that a comparison between an engine rotational speed gradient and an engine rotational speed gradient threshold value as well as a comparison between a pedal travel, by which an accelerator pedal of the vehicle is depressed, and a pedal travel threshold value are performed, and in that the brake force at the at least one wheel brake is reduced when it is established that the engine rotational speed gradient exceeds the engine rotational speed gradient threshold value, and/or the pedal travel, by which the accelerator pedal is depressed, exceeds the pedal travel threshold value. Also disclosed a device that is appropriate to implement the method.
