Also described are mixtures of such homopolymers with other polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, mixtures of polyethylene and polyvinyl acetate, copolymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate, and the like, useful for controlled release of such physiological or psychological diagnostic compositions, pheremones, insect repellents, animal repellents and perfume materials into a gaseous environment surrounding the polymer matrix.
