  • Patent number: 8925186
Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a chip die 2 manipulator apparatus arranged for picking and placing of a chip die 2 in a chip manufacturing process, wherein an imaging system 11 comprising an arc form convex spherical mirror 13 arranged at a second off-axis position B and centered relative to the center position 5; a folding mirror 4 arranged in a light path between the convex spherical mirror 13 and the center position 5 for folding the light path to a third off-axis position C; and an arc form concave spherical mirror 15 arranged at the third off-axis position C having a curvature to image from at least one of the center position 5 and the component 2 on the image detection system 9. The imaging system 11 corrects for the angled image detection of the center position 5.

  • Publication number: 20100182582
Abstract: A lithographic apparatus includes an illumination system configured to condition a radiation beam; a polarization sensor configured at least in part to couple to a reticle stage, wherein components of the reticle polarization sensor can be loaded and unloaded in the lithographic apparatus in the manner used for conventional reticles. In one configuration an active reticle tool includes a rotatable retarder configured to vary the retardation applied to polarized light received from a field point in the illumination system. In another configuration, a passive reticle tool is configured as an array of polarization sensor modules, where the amount of retardation applied to received light by fixed retarders varies according to position of the polarization sensor module. Accordingly, a plurality of retardation conditions for light received at a given field point can be measured, wherein a complete determination of a polarization state of the light at the given field point can be determined.

  • Publication number: 20100085546
Abstract: A humidity measurement system for use in, for example, a lithographic apparatus. The humidity measurement system includes a tunable laser diode configured to emit a measurement radiation beam having a wavelength in a wavelength range. The wavelength range includes a first wavelength associated with an absorption peak of water molecules. A signal processing unit is connected to a radiation detector. The signal processing unit is configured to measure an intensity of the measurement radiation beam of the tunable laser diode subjected to absorption. The signal processing unit is also connected to the tunable laser diode for obtaining wavelength information. The signal processing unit is arranged to detect an extreme value in a measured intensity as function of the wavelength and to calculate a humidity value from the detected extreme value.
