  • Publication number: 20060273255
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of computer diagnostics. The method consists in the steps of forming radiation forming in this wave range, consisting of separate partial radiations, which are different from each other by values of their physical features, directing of the formed radiations into a side of the observed object, receiving a radiation, dispersed from the observed object, through a focusing element, transforming of the received radiation in electrical signals and forming a synthesized enhance image of the observed object by combining said given electrical signals.

  • Patent number: 6777684
Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention provides an apparatus 10 for imaging. At least one source 12 (or 12/14) of composite radiation illuminates a field of view 16. The radiation includes a set of multiple phase-independent partials that are independently controllable and exhibit distinct physical features. A quasi-optical element 21 is disposed between the field of view 16 and a multi-element receiver 18. The multi-element receiver 18 is disposed to receive image radiation 28 from the quasi-optical element 21. Particular ones of the receiver elements transform the image radiation 28 into a set of electrical signals that include information relating to features of the partials.

  • Patent number: 6129734
Abstract: A rotatable atherectomy device having an exchangeable drive shaft cartridge and a rotatable prime mover coupling. The cartridge has a rotatable drive shaft socket carried by a carriage. The coupling radially expands during rotation such that it interlocks with the socket to drive a tissue removal implement on the end of a drive shaft attached to the cartridge. Upon slow or no rotation of the socket, the coupling disengages from the socket to allow for exchange of the cartridge.
