  • Patent number: 5317982
Abstract: A displacement ship having a hull, a stern 6 which at least in the region of the underwater body form a flat surface to which the longitudinal axis of the ship is a normal, the hull at least in the region of the underwater body, narrowing towards the stern 6 neither with the side surfaces 1a, 1b nor with the bottom 1c.

  • Patent number: 4621857
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor-vehicle trailer, particularly a passenger-car trailer, for transporting easily removable and exchangeable superstructures. Toward the rear of the trailer, two approximately horizontal rail sections, which are joined to each other at the front, diverge and in the area of the axle units extend rearwardly in a horizontal parallel manner. In front of and behind the axle units, the rail sections are joined by transverse sections, and between the transverse sections wheelguards are located. The upper areas of the wheelguards form supports which directly transfer the load of the superstructures via a suspension to the wheels mounted on the axle units.

  • Patent number: 4417834
Abstract: A scale is connected with the vertically movably tracer so as to provide an indication of the surface of the tracer abutting the underside of a stem of a T profile. The scale is adjustable relative to the tracer by an amount equal to one half the stem width and cooperates with an indicator of the center line of the drill of the drilling unit.

  • Patent number: 4249443
Abstract: A circular saw for elongated work pieces particularly of metal has a saw blade mounted on an arm which is connected by a pivotal mount to a saw frame at one end and which is pivotally connected to a piston and cylinder type raising and lowering assembly at its other end. The arm can be longitudinally moved both with respect to the mount and with respect to the raising and lowering assembly which allows the blade to saw through work pieces of relatively large cross-sectional dimensions.

  • Patent number: 4215958
Abstract: A drilling machine for working on longer workpieces, such as steel profiles having a fixed, non-variable frame. The machine includes a horizontal machine underpart arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the workpiece, two vertical side parts attached to the underpart ends and a horizontal upper beam attached on the side parts, and three drilling units each having a drilling spindle, a gear and a motor. The drilling units are shiftable in a plane parallel to the frame. The first drilling unit has a horizontal drilling spindle and is attached to a side part to the side of the workpiece; the second drilling unit has a second spindle arranged horizontally to the first drilling unit and on the opposing side of the workpiece; and, the third drilling unit has a vertical spindle and is attached to the upper beam. The second drilling unit has its horizontal drilling spindle on a horizontally driven carriage provided with lower wheels and upper wheels.

  • Patent number: 4164883
Abstract: A machine for the cold sawing of workpieces, particularly those made of metal, in which a vertical feed of a circular vertical saw blade is guided vertically by gliding elements adhering laterally to the saw blade. The gliding elements are guided movably relative to the saw blade of a drive for the blade, parallel to the plane of the saw blade. The gliding elements may be located above the workpieces, and they may be fastened by carrier to vertical or inclined straight guides. These gliding elements, furthermore, may be fastened to guides with a curved guide track. The guides may be fastened to stands guiding the transmission housing, and the gliding elements contacting the front side of the saw blade, may be connected to each other by a carrier which, on its underside, has the form of a lower section of the saw blade and covers the lower soft blade section.

  • Patent number: 4102231
Abstract: Circular saw blades for sawing cold steel and the like, wherein the region of each tooth is provided on both sides with a plurality of lateral cutting edges, preferably from two to ten such edges.

  • Patent number: 4054072
Abstract: A machine for the cold-sawing of steel plates in which the feed movement between the circular saw blade including its drive housing and the workpiece, in essence the steel plate, is effectuated in a horizontal direction. The saw unit, which consists of the saw blade and its drive housing is so guided in a vertical direction as to be freely movable in this direction, and is provided with means which support themselves on the workpiece in immediate proximity to the saw cut in a manner whereby the saw blade does not enter essentially deeper into the workpiece than would be necessary to divide the latter. During sawing, the saw blade should project beyond the lower surface of the workpiece by only a fraction of a millimeter.
