Abstract: Embodiments of this invention provide a system and method for coordinating movement of personnel. The system includes a portable device, a client device, and a server system. The portable device connects to the client device to present information relating to a physical site of the coordinated movement to a personnel member. When the client device has a network connection, the client device connects to the server system which updates the information stored in the portable device. The information stored in the portable device and the server system are presented to the personnel member via a user interface which includes tools allowing the member to overlay layers on an aerial view of the site, view additional data about features of a site, and collaborate with other personnel.
