  • Patent number: 10043362
Abstract: A security alarm system includes a security light that has a pair of sockets and a motion detector. The motion detector is electrically coupled to each of the sockets. The motion detector actuates each of the sockets when the motion detector detects motion. A first alarm is removably coupled to an associated one of the sockets such that the first alarm is in electrical communication with the associated socket. The first alarm emits an audible alarm when the motion detector detects motion. A second alarm is removably coupled to an associated one of the sockets such that the second alarm is in electrical communication with the associated socket. The second alarm records video footage when the motion detector detects motion.

  • Patent number: 9721226
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing information relating to the specialized handling of a package, and articles contained within the package. Data relating to a package containing an article that requires specialized handling is associated with a unique identifier and stored in a database. The unique identifier is also included in a machine readable code affixed to the package. A recipient of the package scans the machine readable code using an application downloaded into a mobile device, which extracts the unique identifier from the machine readable code and transmits a request to the database. The database may then identify data stored in the database that relates to the article based on the unique identifier, and transmit the data to the mobile device for display to the recipient. The data may include instructions on how to unpack the package, and how to store or use articles contained within the package.

  • Patent number: 9074477
Abstract: A connector for connecting an impeller to a shaft is provided. The connector is formed as a unitary body. The connector has a sleeve portion which is frictionally connected on a radially outer surface of a shaft-side hub extension of the impeller. The connector further has a threaded portion carrying a thread which screws onto a corresponding threaded portion of the shaft, such that the connector provides a rotationally fixed connection between the impeller and the shaft. The hub extension has a central recess, and a part of the connector is inserted into the recess. The frictional connection between the sleeve portion and the radially outer surface of the hub extension transmits, in use, substantially all of the torque between the shaft and the impeller.

  • Publication number: 20150034720
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing information relating to specialized handling of a package, and articles contained within the package. Data relating to a package containing an article that requires specialized handling is associated with a unique identifier and stored in a database. The unique identifier is also included in a machine readable code affixed to the package. A recipient of the package scans the machine readable code using an application downloaded into a computing device, which extracts the unique identifier from the machine readable code and transmits a request to the database. The database may then identify data stored in the database that relates to the article based on the unique identifier, and transmit the data to the computing device for display to the recipient. The data may include a packing list, instructions for how to unpack the package, and how to store or use articles contained within the package.
