The axle extension assembly includes a shaft having an axle bore insert portion that is adapted for insertion in the longitudinal axle bore. The axle bore insert portion includes a bore engaging element cooperative between the axle bore insert portion and the longitudinal axle bore for securing axle bore insert portion within the longitudinal axle bore.     Abstract: A seal washer and a locknut assembly for retaining for instance a wheel on a shaft, the locknut assembly seal washer. The seal washer includes a cylindrical segment connected to and extending from an outer peripheral edge of the washer section, the cylindrical segment. The seal washer includes an outer seal contact surface. The locknut assembly also includes a nut having an annular portion, an anti-rotation member cooperative with the shaft and the nut, the anti-rotation member adapted to prevent rotation of the nut with respect to the shaft. The locknut assembly also includes a seal washer including a washer section and a cylindrical segment connected to and extending from an outer peripheral edge of the washer section, the cylindrical segment including an outer seal contact surface.

    Abstract: A lock nut assembly including a lock plate having a tab that extends into a channel of the shaft, a nut that engages a threaded end of the shaft, a lock ring adapted for placement over the head of the nut and a retainer adapted to fit in a groove formed about the perimeter of the nut to retain the lock ring on the nut. The lock plate and the lock ring include cooperating rotation restriction elements selected from a group of rotation restriction elements including a plurality of apertures and a projecting element insertable into one of the plurality of apertures. The rotation restriction elements of the lock plate and the lock ring cooperatively engage to prohibit rotation or counter rotation of the nut with respect to the shaft.
