  • Patent number: 7328810
Abstract: A crane support consisting of a steel square tubing pedestal having an apertured mounting plate fixedly attached to its upper end, and having an enlarged base fixedly attached to its lower end; an axle, the pedestal being mounting rotatably upon the axle; an auxiliary implement mounting frame fixedly attached to a rearward end of the axle, such mounting plate being adapted for attachment to skid steer loader lift arms and bucket dumping rams; a pair of telescoping outriggers fixedly attached to and extending laterally from the pedestal, each outrigger arm having downwardly extendable and upwardly retractable foot fixedly attached to its distal end; a plurality of hydraulic cylinders operatively connected to the telescoping outriggers and to the feet for alternating lateral and vertical extensions and retractions; and a hydraulic cylinder connected operatively to the pedestal for alternately locking the pedestal against rotation with respect to the mounting frame and permitting such rotation.

  • Patent number: 6669405
Abstract: An assembly and method for joining a drain pipe with a concrete catch basin, structural elements of the assembly including a concrete catch basin having a wall, the wall having inner and outer surfaces, the wall further having a plate embedded within the wall between the wall's inner and outer surfaces, the wall further having an outer aperture extending through the concrete wall from an outer surface of the plate to the outer surface of the concrete wall, and further having an inner aperture extending through the concrete wall from an inner surface of the plate to the inner surface of the concrete wall; the method including steps of cutting a pipe receiving aperture through the plate, lining the pipe receiving aperture with an expansible elastomeric ring, extending a drain pipe through the ring, and injecting elastomeric foam into the ring, causing the ring to expand, and to seal between the aperture and the pipe, securely holding and sealing the drain pipe in place upon the catch basin.

  • Patent number: 6481927
Abstract: An assembly and method of joining a pipe with a catch basin, the catch basin having an apertured side wall, the assembly and method including providing an elastomeric ring having an annular hollow expansion space, a foam injection port, a flow checking inflation valve for resesting fluid back flow within the foam injection port, and having a slide stop extending outwardly from the elastomeric ring; inserting the elastomeric ring into the catch basin's aperture; inserting an end of the pipe through the elastomeric ring; and injecting a closed cell resilient foam through the fluid injection port for expansion within the expansion space, the expansion driving the ring's annular inner and outer surfaces inwardly and outwardly, forming a seal spanning between the pipe and the catch basin.
